Photography Projects

What kind of photography projects am I doing? What am I shooting? Thanks for asking!

Book Cover

Pulp Fiction Cover ArtThis glamour/beauty photography project is based on the cheesy cover art of “pulp fiction”. We will work to duplicate a particular look or theme, and, using Photoshop the pictures will be made into “cover art” for a pulp novel.

Examples of the pulp fiction cover art that has inspired me can be found here.

Tattoo You

Pretty tattooed girlAre you well inked? Have a lot of tattoos to show off? I want you! This is an on-going project featuring people with tattoos. This is not merely pictures of your tattoos, it is more of a portrait project of people with tattoos. This can also be a photo story of you getting your next great piece of ink art!

This is the only project open to men and women! If you would like to be part of this project, click here!

Classic B+W Figure

Black and white figure nude photographyI’m sure I don’t need to explain this, right? Okay – I will. Classic figure work focusing on the form and shape of the nude figure. There are a number of directions this shoot can go – from sculptural and the kind of photo you could show your grandmother, to non-explicit erotic and the kind of photo you would show your boyfriend (or girlfriend). You will be completely nude, and I will try very hard to keep the studio as warm as possible.

Naiads

Nude girls outdoorsThis is my pet project – one I’ve been working on for a few summers now.

Naiads are the mythological spirits of streams and rivers. For this project, we will shoot in the waters and streams of the North Georgia mountains. Full nudity is required. Models must be natural (or at the least look natural) and have minimal tattooing. If you would like to be part of this project, click here!

Southern Girls

Pretty Southern GirlInspired by the redneck white trash sexiness of Christina Ricci in the 2006 film Black Snake Moan, this project is all about summer, heat, sweat, sultry, and sexy – everything GRITS (girls raised in the South) are about. Pull out your Daisy Dukes and your cotton shift. Take a swig of Jack Daniels. Channel your inner Eula Varner, and let’s shoot. If you would like to be part of this project, click here!
